Health Visitor Pre-school Immunisation Clinic
This clinic is held on various days and times in Riverside Medical Practice at the Musselburgh Primary Care Centre. Child Health Surveillance sends out appointments in the post to the family.
Midwife run Antenatal Clinic – 0131 446 4149 (Musselburgh Primary Care Centre)
This clinic is held on a Tuesday morning at Riverside Medical Practice from 9.00 am – 12.30 pm (by appointment). Apointments are made by contacting the midwife at the MPCC number listed above.
The counselling service is run by Prisca Kemp. The service has been available at the The Riverside Medical Practice since 2004 and is confidential. To arrange counselling you can self-refer or ask your GP for a referral. ECLIPSE packs, and a leaflet explaining the service, are available from reception or any GP at Riverside Medical Practice.
You will need to fill in two forms and return them to the practice, and you will then go on a waiting list. Waiting times are up to 6 weeks. The first appointment is sent out in the post, and further appointments are made by Prisca.
This free service offers one to one Links Practitioners support who can help with day to day challenges that people face such as:~ health, stress, isolation, depression, anxiety, housing, benefits, alcohol, finances and many other issues.
