We’ve heard reports that some vaccine appointment letters may not have been delivered. We understand that this is the case across the NHS Lothian area not just in Musselburgh.
This is outside of the control of ourselves and other GP Practices: data is simply extracted from GP Practice medical records systems, to create the list of people to invite. Letters are then sent via a national centralised system.
If you’re in priority group 6 (aged 16-64 with an underlying health condition) or aged 60 – 75 and still haven’t had an invite letter from NHS Lothian it could be worth giving two helplines a try, as we’ve heard that some people have called them and their appointment had been made already, but they hadn’t received a letter.

You could also try filling in this NHS Inform missing appointments form.
We respectfully ask that you don’t call the surgery, even if the above helplines aren’t able to assist.
All the information we have about this matter is listed here for you, and we ask for your support in keeping our phone line free for people with urgent health concerns.
