Repeat prescription re-authorisations

The number of issues you have left for each repeat medication will now be included on your hard copy prescription slip. Please make sure you collect this from the pharmacist when you collect your medication and check what it says.

It will tell you how many more times we’ll be able to re-prescribe the medication for you, before your repeat prescription needs re-authorising.

When it says ‘0 issues left’ this means we’ll need to re-authorise your prescription the next time you order it – and it may then take up to 10 working days to be completed rather than 2-3 days as per a normal repeat prescription.

Please make sure you order your repeat medication early, if you know it needs re-authorising.

Thank you …
