Riverside staff news

24.6.21

We’re pleased to share some staff news with you today.

Dr Anne Money, one of our current ST3s (fully qualified Dr in final year of speciality training) will be joining the Riverside GP team permanently when she finishes her training in September this year.

She’ll be replaced as an ST3 by Dr Jeffery Scott in August – as a training practice, we’re lucky to have ST3s with us each year and they always deliver excellent care to patients while they’re with us.

We’re also delighted to welcome Dr Hannah Astle to the GP team on a permanent basis – Dr Astle has been locuming with us for a few months.

Finally, Dr Lucy Milner will join us in July. They join Dr Maeve Chestnutt and Dr Michael Slowey, who we welcomed to the GP team earlier in the year.

In a world where GPs really have their pick of where to work, it’s wonderful to see so many choosing Riverside this year.

We still have Drs Magee and Henderson due to rejoin us this year after maternity leave and are still recruiting for a further 0.5 GP (2 days per week) – we have locum cover for all in the meantime.

A third Nurse Practitioner (Arran Gillis) will be joining our call room from July, supporting nurses Chris Gent & Sarah Miller as they develop our care navigation system at the Practice. In other call room news, you might soon speak with our two new call handlers, Kirsten and Victoria.

Helen Marsden (Communications & Patient Engagement Manager will also be joining the Practice on a permanent basis.

We’ll update the website shortly with this information and everyone’s working days.

We hope you join with us in welcoming everyone to the Practice.
