Thank you for your prescription request.

You won’t get a confirmation email – but don’t worry, we’ve received it safely.

  • Repeat prescription requests can take up to 5 working days – if repeat prescriptions need re-authorising it can take up to 10 working days.
  • Acute / special medication requests can take up to 10 working days
  • Please then allow some extra time for the pharmacy to collect and make-up your prescription for you.
  • Your repeat and acute medication requests may be processed at different times by different GPs – so if you order both types of medication, one may arrive at the pharmacy earlier than the other

Please allow the above timeframes to pass, before calling us to check where your prescription is. This helps us to free up as much time as possible to help people calling with urgent health concerns.

If you do have any queries about your prescription order, please call us after 10am – our phonelines are much quieter then, with the quietest time being late afternoon.
