Thursday 9 March – IT issue

Update 12.30pm: The issue below has been resolved. Please bear with us today, as we return to normal.

A note for our patients: this morning we have no access to any NHS-provided IT systems, including our appointment booking system and patient record system.

This means that we can’t currently book any appointments. However if you need to speak to someone about an urgent medical issue please stay on hold and we’ll do our best to help.

NHS Lothian, who are responsible for the provision of these systems, have been notified and are working to resolve the issue – we will post an update here as soon as we have one.
