Patients often ask us why it’s harder than they (or we) would like to be able to get through to us on the phone and to book an appointment.
Patients at many General Practices locally (and indeed across Scotland) are experiencing the same challenges.
Lothian LMC (the local medical committee) have recently produced a letter which explains in detail some of the many contributing factors which mean that we – like many other GP Practices – are less able to provide the level of service that patients (and we) would wish to.
Many other GP Practices locally have also published this letter so their patients can read it, and we hope you also find it useful.
